Good food is good mood’. This has more than often been the ultimate truth when it comes to food. Something which keeps us alive (along with water and oxygen of course) and can make up our mood or break it up for us is none other than all those food items we crave. One cannot do enough justice just by telling how incredible foods are and the rich variety they carry from culture to culture, country to country. Each food item comes bearing unique taste. The best part about foods could be that no matter what item or how similar the dish is, we all have our own ways of cooking and preparing it. For some, it’s an absolute joy to prepare food while for others, ordering seems their cue!

Junk food surely is one of the best but could do equal damage if not in present, then in the long run. We are jam-packed with a diversity of cuisines like Indian food, Chinese, Mexican, Thai, Italian, Seafood, Continental, French, Korean, Turkish, Indonesian, Arabian, American etc. Every food item comes with its deep-rooted history. Under the Indian cuisine itself we can find further sub-divisions like Jain food, Sindhi dishes, chaat, North-Indian, South-Indian, Bengali sweets and the list seems endless. Certain foods for health considered are- green leafy vegetables, dry fruits, fruits, yoghurt, pulses and seeds. Food in short, is a flavorful delight to our taste buds depending on what type it is as we all come with our differences in taste and choices. Many of us seem to have food allergies too. There needs to be a strict balance between healthy foods and junk ones as foods appealing to our tongue don’t always do well for our bodies and minds.
